On March 8th, our Chair, Kris Baker boarded a plane for Washington, D.C joining over 150 Surfrider activists, surf industry leaders and ocean enthusiasts around the country to meet with our nation’s federal leaders and urge them to stand up for our coasts and support critical environmental legislation. Critical priorities were addressed: Climate Change Action, Clean Water and Reducing Plastic Pollution. Kris was one of the speakers presenting the need for clean water emphasizing the Blue Water Task Force program results. We are so proud of you Kris!
