Our Space Coast Chapter is so ecstatic that our Blue Water Task Force (BWTF) program is now using glass equipment instead of plastic for testing our local waters. By using glass, we eliminate the need to purchase and test with single use plastic equipment. This saves our chapter money and allows the program to continue and expand into other testing water areas.

We did not do this alone. Our Surfrider Foundation's Blue Water Task Force department supplied the glass bottles to get our chapter started with our glass transition. Last year's clean water fundraising events at BeachFly Brewing Company in Rockledge and Pareidolia Brewing Company in Sebastian helped our chapter to meet our "glass" goal. Lastly, the Surfing's Evolution & Preservation Foundation supported our program so we can continue testing our waters and report testing results.
