The Surfrider Space Coast chapter volunteers are working hard to support clean water. Our local Ocean Friendly Restaurant, The Tiny Turtle in Cocoa Beach has been recognized by the Surfrider Foundation for reducing single-use plastics and making small choices for our ocean. Husband and Wife duo, Chef Moises and Kelly Lieneke have created a unique restaurant experience that protects the ocean and sea life while giving back to the community. On April 1st, our chapter volunteers and the City of Cocoa Beach community kayaked out to the North Thousand Islands and collected over 90 pounds of debris including four automobile tires.
